Divergence Rosé Brut 2021

Lincoln Lakeshore, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaJeff Moote is the founder and winemaker at Divergence Wines, a small winery sourcing grapes from great sites around Niagara. This Rosé sources pinot noir from Lincoln Lakeshore's Hughes Vineyard. After a 4 day maceration for hue, this was fermented cool in stainless, and spent 2 years in bottle, disgorged in March 2024 with 1 g/L dosage, using barrel aged reserve wine from 2021. An attractive salmon hue, this streams red currant, strawberry, and smoked stones across a tart palate, finishing with an orange twist. A promising project to watch. 800 bottles.Tasted: 21 October 2025Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
