Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaJeff Moote is the founder and winemaker at Divergence Wines, a small winery sourcing grapes from great sites around Niagara. The 2022 Red blends syrah (46%), cabernet franc (36%), and merlot (18%), and the wine spends 20 months in new and used French barrels. Ripe raspberry, cherry, and sappy tree branch work their way through this juicy, tart red, with finely sticky tannins pinning in the sides, and a red current twist on the finish.
