Divergence MV Brut One NV
Lincoln Lakeshore, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaJeff Moote is the founder and winemaker at Divergence Wines, a small winery sourcing grapes from great sites around Niagara. The MV (Multi Vintage) Brut One is his first release of this label, hence the one. It blends 58% Pinot Noir, and 42% Chardonnay from Lincoln Lakeshore, partially fermented in neutral French oak, and based on the 2021 vintage with 21% reserve wines from 2020. This spent 28 months on lees, and was disgorged July 2024 with 5 g/L. Sharp, tight green apple, lemon peel, lemon blossom is scented with brioche and vanilla wafer, finishing bright and crisp.
