Champagne Roger Constant Lemaire Les Hautes Prières 2012

Vallée de la Marne, Champagne, FranceThe Lemaire family has been present in the Vallee de la Marne since the late 19th century. Today, a few generations in, the family is overseeing their sustainably managed (under conversion to organic) 12 hectares. This BdB was Hauvillers sourced, aged in wood over 9 months, with no MLF, and went to bottle without filtering or fining. It spent up to 9 years sur lattes prior to disgorge with with 7-9 g/L. Candied lemon, marshmallow, and meringue fill a generous palate, with lemony backbone to structure and tighten. Smart modern classic.Tasted: 24 October 2025Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
