Champagne Louis Roederer et Philippe Starck Rosé Brut Nature 2015

Vallée de la Marne, Champagne, FranceThis Brut Nature series is been a collaboration with artist Philippe Starck, with the first Rosé being the 2012. The line allows the legendary house of Roederer to break from form somewhat, and explore new, highly artistic, styles. The fruit, 50% Pinot Noir, 37% Chardonnay, and 13% Pinot Meunier, come from 3 plots in La Rivière, along the Marne, and nearby to Cumières. 20% of the pinot noir was infused for 5 days to yield the delicate pink hue, and 11% of the whole was fermented in oak, with 30% MLF overall. My bottle was disgorged January 2023. Finely boned and structured, with pedigreed summer strawberries, cherry blossoms, and red currant acidity lighting up the slight palate, skeeting along to a chalk kissed finish. Drinking now, with lighter canapés and posh guests.Tasted: 04 January 2026Tasted by: Prices:
