Stellenbosch, Coastal Region, South AfricaFrom the Borman family's Stellenbosch estate and its decomposed granite soils, this is entirely Syrah clone SH99. After a native ferment with 11 days skin contact, this rested 14 months in French 225L barriques (10% new). Worked leather, ripe cherry, black raspberry is seasoned with peppercorn and baking spices, housed with well integrated, tobacco clad tannins, and finishing with a puff of warmth.
