Gehringer Brothers International Series Sauvignon Blanc 2024
Washington, United StatesGehringer Vineyards was hit hard by the 2024 deep freeze, resulting in a zero harvest that year and the need to replant 40% of their vines. The family looked to Washington State to fill the gap, releasing this 2024 sauvignon blanc as one of several releases. After crushing, the fruit was given 12 hours of skin contact in search of aromas and some mouthfeel. The nose presents some classic grass and passion fruit with a green herbal undertone. The palate is similar in style, with more mango and green fruit, and saline, citrus hints. The finish is crisp, suggesting this would be a good match for fresh goat cheese or a creamy seafood pasta dish.Tasted: 14 September 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:| BC | $18.99 | 750ml | winery direct |
