Côtes du Rhône, Rhone Valley, FranceThe Maby family estate has been operating since the early 19th century and is currently managed by Richard Maby, a descendant of the original owners. Variations is an organic blend composed of 60% syrah, 20% grenache, 15% mourvèdre, and 5% carignan, sourced from approximately 50 year old vines. The wine is aged in large vats, which help maintain its supple, refreshing qualities without a prominent oak influence. It has a ruby red colour, with aromas of garrigue, red fruit, plums, and spice. The palate is round and supple.
