Champagne Louis Roederer et Philippe Starck Brut Nature 2015

Champagne, FranceThis is the fourth and current release of the designed collaboration with artist Philippe Starck. There have been only five iterations to date: 2006, 2009, 2012, 2015, and 2018. The line has allowed Roederer to break from the house style and explore new, highly artistic efforts. What a gorgeous wine made with zero sugar and zero sulphites. The charm lies in the piercing citrus and hazelnut that runs through the wine from front to back, with some even more attractive brioche notes. An electric wine that grows on you as you taste glass after glass. The 2015 is equal parts pinot noir, chardonnay, and meunier, all pressed at the same time. The fruit is farmed using biodynamic practices, and all comes from the Côteaux de Cumières, where it is picked and pressed on the same day, together. The secret is fermentation in wood and aging for five years, which builds up the mouthfeel and balances off the lean, zero sugar style. A sophisticated, modern look from Roederer that is in high demand.Tasted: 19 September 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
