Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe ’23 opens with a muted, low fruit nose. There are some almond and mineral notes, but again, they are on the less persistent side. The attack is flat, although the textures are smooth, reflecting that it has been aged in neutral French and Hungarian oak. It has some freshness, but there is more bitterness to contend with in the finish.
