Azhadi Chardonnay 2023
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe initial impression of this chardonnay is reserved. It displays some typical chardonnay features, though none are prominent. The nose is subtle and subdued, while the palate offers notes of sour apples and oak, with moderate intensity. Fruit presence on the palate is minimal, and the flavour profile is straightforward. This wine is reminiscent of a Bourgogne level chardonnay produced in the 1980s. As it is still early days for Azhadi, I will await further developments in the next release as they settle into their new winery.Tasted: 27 September 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:| BC | $0.00 | 750ml | winery online/direct |
