Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe nose is muted and tight at this stage. On the palate, there is a youthful, spicy note that runs from front to back. Its strongest aspect is the texture, which is glossy and smooth, although the alcohol might be smoothing the back end. The fruit is subdued beneath some leafy, earthy flavours that currently dominate. This wine needs time in the bottle to reveal its true direction.
