Frank Cornelissen Munjebel Bianco 2020

Etna, Sicily, ItalyFrank Cornelissen became part of a growing movement of naturalist Sicilian wines, and now is a reference producer. This intense orange is a split of certified organic Grecanico dorado and carricante from 30+ year old vines growing on the profound volcanic soils of Mt. Etna. After destemming and light crushing, this spent 3 days on skins before a native ferment and aging in epoxy tanks of varying sizes for 16 months. It was bottling without fining and with minimal filtration and low SO2. Pouring a golden hue, this streaks across the palate, leaving a wake of tangerine pith, chamomile, bergamot, burnished stones, and a kiss of honeycomb, fresh ginger, and orange pekoe tea in its wake. Finished with an ardeaseal cork, so you needn't ever worry about TCA or forgery.Tasted: 03 August 2025Tasted by: Prices:
