Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaThis is the best chardonnay I have tasted from Unsworth, grown on a blend of sandy gravel and former ocean floor materials that transport you to Chablis. Ripe and with a hint of body, unlike its predecessors, this is an expressive Vancouver Island wine. Look for green apples, pears, and citrus from front to back, with a complex hint of green herbs and a leesy mineral quality.
