Yakima Valley, Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesThis 2024 replacement wine comes from Washington’s Yakima AVA, sourced from Hahn Hill Vineyard. The colour is Provençal pink, with a nose that combines citrus and fresh cut strawberries. At less than 6% residual sugar, there is a promise of sweetness, but the grapefruit, lemon, and strawberry palate evens out the sweetness with some counterbalancing acidity before a softer finish brings it home. Entirely syrah, it was fermented and aged for 3 months on its lees.
