Terravista Vineyards Proyecto Terruña Albariño Spanish Castle Vineyard 2024

Ancient Lakes, Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesProyecto Terruña is Terravista's series of Crafted in BC (CIBC) wines from the 2024 vintage. This albariño comes from Spanish Castle vineyard, in Columbia Valley's Ancient Lakes AVA. It was handpicked, then driven to their Okanagan winery that afternoon, fermented in stainless until dry, where it rested for a short time until bottling. Salami and other reductive notes open and lead to a gentle palate of lime pith and peel, pear blossoms, nectarine fuzz, finishing with a snappy grapefruit pith finish. Though a bit clipped, this is dry and floral and zippy, and a nice sunny patio white this summer. 233 cases were made.Tasted: 01 July 2025Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
