Oregon, United StatesPlume has been jumping in and out of the country for a while now, having first started in California. Quails' Gate owns the brand, so it is only natural that they would get around to Oregon sooner rather than later. In 2023, this fruit came off high elevation vineyards in Dayton, Oregon, giving one an inside look at the terroir of the Willamette Valley. The colour is ruby red light, the nose is a pleasant mix of leafy red berry with a classic twist of earth and forest floor. On the palate, the textures are silky smooth, with wild black cherries and earth.
