Etna, Sicily, ItalyThis nerello mascalese is grown at 800m on the northern slopes of Mount Etna. Perfumed boysenberry, iris, scrubby rosemary and thyme are woven through this buzzy, humming, volcanic red, scented with pink peppercorn, and hugged with finely sticky tannins through a lingering kirsch kissed finish.
