The wine is matured for 9 months in used French oak barriques and 600 litre demi-muids to develop its texture and complexity while preserving freshness. This results in a balanced chardonnay with white fruits and subtle florals, followed by a palate that shows lees, citrus, and apples, with persistent length and texture. Maison Perron de Mypont is an estate situated in the village of Puligny-Montrachet, currently managed by German winemaker Ernst Loosen, and Manoël Bouchet, a Burgundy wine professional and collaborator.
