Dogliani, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyDogliani is a Piemontese DOC based on dolcetto, a slightly more rustic red wine than its neighbouring nebbiolo. The colour in '23 is medium dark. The nose is a mix of spice, leather, ripe black cherries, and a touch of prune and balsamic. The palate is slightly chunky, although the tannins are pretty much non-existent, despite its normal dry, Italian finish.
