Montagne de Reims, Champagne, FranceFounded in 1947, Palmer & Co. is one of Champagne's high-quality co-ops. It was founded by seven passionate grower- Families, and now sounds 300+, with 200+ ha of 1er and GC vineyards in the Montagne de Reims. This bottle is 51% chardonnay, 31% pinot noir, and 18% meunier, fermented in stainless from base year 2022. It contains 30% reserve wines (2020, 2019, 2018), some of which were stored in wood, and was dosed with 6.1 g/L. The chardonnay is leading the charge, with fresh lemon, green apple freshness wrapped around a chalky, riper apple core. The red fruits give a gentle fruity expansiveness to the palate, making this friendly and smart. AND a fantastic value even in our markets.
