Township 7 Interlude Chardonnay 2024

Sonoma County, California, United StatesThis replacement chardonnay under the Interlude Series was grown at Four Palms Vineyard in the Russian River Valley, Sonoma. Mike Raffan and Lori Pike own The Four Palms vineyard. Raffan is the General Manager and CEO of Township 7, and the couple has set aside some Sonoma Chardonnay, specifically Wente clone 4, and Dijon clone 96 vines grown in the Russian River Valley, for winemaker Mary McDermott. Post fermentation, it was aged in stainless steel and two neutral French oak barriques. It's more BC than Sonoma in style, with a lean entry of fresh apple and melon, a hint of lees, and a surprisingly crisp finish. Good value here, and an excellent food wine.Tasted: 08 June 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
