Lightning Rock Cross Border Collection Pinot Gris Airfield Estate Vineyard 2024
Yakima Valley, Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesDefinitely one of the better Washington wines bottled in BC in 2024. This Airfield Estate Vineyard, situated in the Yakima Valley AVA, clocks in at a super fresh 12% with zero sugar. It opens with pear and quince, flecks of apricot, and even some wet stone. The palate has a light, creamy lees character that does not impede the fruit. The finish is long and refreshing with a final desert scrub note poking through for interest.
