Wahluke Slope, Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesAt only 12 percent, this is a fun, juicy, vibrant, light coloured syrah with some grassy, meaty notes on the nose. The palate is soft, with a mix of ripe red and black berry fruit flavours, savoury fresh-cut herbs, and black pepper, complemented by velvety tannins in the finish. It was all hand-harvested on King Organics Vineyard, grown on the warm, well-drained soils of the Wahluke Slope. Korean BBQ short ribs are the perfect match for smashburgers, where crispy beef and melted cheese complement the Syrah's bright fruit.
