Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesThis Pét-Nat Chenin Blanc is a replacement wine organically farmed at Arete Vineyard in Othello, WA. It opens with a frothy nose of green apples and pear skins with similar flavours throughout its feather-weight palate. It is clean and fresh and even comes with a hint of minerality. It is well made, but simple, as in drink it now on the patio with some steamed clams or a piece of fresh goat cheese. Fermentation was completed in stainless steel, and the wine was bottled shortly after preserving its natural effervescence.
