Lightning Rock Blanc de Noirs Canyonview Vineyard Traditonal Method Brut Nature 2022
Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe '22 BdN reveals nuanced aromas of mushroom and earth, complemented by well-integrated autolytic notes of almond and brioche. The palate brings more precision and refinement, featuring light citrus, peach, and pear supported by a creamy texture, an excellent mousse, and a prolonged finish. Sourced from organically farmed fruit at Canyonview Vineyard in Summerland, fermentation was undertaken with native yeast in neutral oak puncheons, followed by complete malolactic conversion and six months of lees ageing before tirage. After spending 21 months en tirage, the wine was disgorged without dosage in April 2025.
