JoieFarm Rosé Naramata Bench 2024

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaUnlike the vast majority of Okanagan and Similkameen 2024s you come across, this rosé was from BC-grown grapes. A small lot (70 cases) from Naramata's Pipers and Sleeping Dog vineyards, this blended pinot auxerrois (instead of their typical gamay) and pinot noir. Destemmed fruit was soaked in press and whole berry pressed before a 9 day cold settle and slow, cool fermentation in stainless over 3 weeks. Juicy and joyous, with wild strawberry, summer rhubarb, tangerine gliding along a dry, sleek frame, finishing with a stony, pink grapefruit twist. Quite a smart, fun pink, and one with a very special story. Crack into this summer.Tasted: 14 June 2025Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
