Lightfoot and Wolfville Brut 2019
Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, CanadaThis L&W Brut is entirely chardonnay, sourced from their organically and biodynamically Lightfoot Home Farm as well as some neighbouring vineyards. It was fermented in stainless steel with full MLF, and once in bottle this aged for 46 months on lees prior to disgorgement in spring 2024 with a dosage of approximately 8 g/L. Crisp lemon, red and green apple stream across a stony base and through a cloud of lees, emerging with lingering meringue and saline citrus pith.
