Kacaba Proprietor's Block Syrah 2021
Niagara Escarpment, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaThis is the youngest of 3 syrah blocks on Kacaba vineyard, facing south. This was blended with 7.4% viognier and cold soaked for 2 days before inoculation and fermentation, followed by 14 months in French and American oak. Tart cassis, dark cocoa runs the brief palate, with some sticky / powdery tannins to frame, and a clipped finish.
