Priorato, Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainEqual parts organic garnacha and cariñena, these vines were planted on slate from 1939 to 1970 at 350m in Priorat. It was native fermented in stainless and cement, with a small amount of stems. Post ferment, this rests in Slavonian and Croatian foudres. Perfumed violets, liquorice, thorny wild blackberries fill the frame of this structural blend, lit with lofted acidity, but framed with firm, sandy tannins, finishing long and stony.
