Phoenix Sauvignon Blanc 2024 Cascadia Collection 2024

Wahluke Slope, Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesThe newest addition to the Phoenix lineup is the Cascadia Collection, featuring wines made in their cellar with grapes sourced from farmers in the Wahluke Slope AVA of Washington. Following consecutive deep freeze events in the Similkameen and Okanagan Valleys, Corcelettes has been forced to make the difficult decision to replant most of their vineyards. In the meantime, they went out to find fruit for their replacement wines. The sauvignon is a lively affair that is pitching classic passionfruit, guava, and gooseberry. Some 8% of the wine was barrel fermented to add a bit of body and weight and some of that magical lees character. There is no ned to wait to sip this white, it is ready to go and here on the coast, that means oysters, grilled whitefish, or on the patio with a cream cheese appetizer.Tasted: 27 April 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
