Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOkanagan Crush Pad's Narrative line is fashioned around freshness and purity of fruit. The blend in '22 is 91/9 syrah and viognier that is cofermented in concrete tanks and large format neutral oak, and left for several months on its skins. The wine is lively and juicy on the palate, with bright acidity, floral hints, and a modicum of peppery spice and black cherry. The finish is silky smooth, long, and savoury. Drink or hold through the next three to five years. A roasted organic chicken or grilled lamb chops would be an excellent match.
