Almansa, Castilla-La Mancha, SpainThe Gil Family is known for delivering value and that's certainly the case with this wine from Bodegas Atalaya, located in the heart of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha at 700-1000m elevation. A blend of garnacha (75%) and monastrell (25%), this is a wild, rugged medium-full red backed by expressive plummy fruit and a dusting of spice. Give it 15 minutes in the fridge and bust out the charcoal grill.
