Garzón, Maldonado, San José, UruguaySince its debut, Albariño has been Garzon's flagship white wine and is now the top selling white in Uruguay. Tweaks like experimental trellising and additional skin contact have enhanced its expression of soil salinity. The maturing vines have further deepened their roots into granite, lending a mineral quality to the fruit. Facing southeast and close to the cold Atlantic Ocean, the wine shows a brilliant pale yellow-green tint with an expressive nose. The '24 has stylish fruit and white flowers mixed with citrus, and closing with a stony mineral note.
