Codorníu Zero NV
Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, Penedès, Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainCodorníu Zero is an alcohol free wine. It was tasted with a group of consumers for additional comments. The wine is made from xarel·lo, a variety that is popular in both still and sparkling wines. Codorniu Zero starts as a fermented wine. A low temperature vacuum distillation process removes all but 0.5% of the alcohol, retaining its delicate flavours. Finally, CO2, sugar, and small amounts of flavouring are added to the finished product. It has appealing florals, melon, and apricot.
