Apalta Valley, Santa Cruz, Valle del Colchagua, Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileI love that Carmen is switching it up and seriously looking at vines, grapes, wines and regions outside their comfort zone. Quijada is one of a series of Carmen DO labels based solely on the site. In this case, it is semillon, but not just any semillon, it is old vine semillón from Alpalta in Colchagua Valley. It’s not as intense as the Australian version but has a freshness and vibrancy accompanying its enticing nose and superior palate.
