Blasted Church Sauvignon Blanc Grown in Washington State 2024
Horse Heaven Hills, Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesThis is a fantastic Washington sauvignon blanc, sourced from Andrews Family Vineyards in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA. It feels Napa-like in character, in the best possible way. There's fruit ripeness, to be sure, a combination of passionfruit and guava, but it's still restrained and crisp, layered with white peach and grapefruit. Of course, if this was Napa the price would be at least $50, if not more. And here we are at $28. Fantastic value and a home run by winemaker Evan Saunders.
