Ultraviolet California Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
California, United StatesThis cabernet sauvignon from Red Hills AVA, a volcanic soiled site at 1500 feet, is blended with 5% Cabernet Franc from Coombsville in Napa Valley. It spent 10 months aging in French oak (10% new). Designed to be drinkable now, and this certainly is, with polished, perfumed and ripe black and purple fruit and florals laced with bitter chocolate, potpourri, and gentle wood spice. Tannins are soft and supple, and the palate silken smooth, taking this to a warming finish. Would be best enjoyed with sauced beef or ribs.Tasted: 29 March 2025Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:BC | $30.00 | 750ml | private wine stores |
