Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA merlot-dominant Bordeaux blend pitches intense spicy black cherry and plum with a savoury scented nose. The palate is equally fierce with resiny cedar black fruit, boasting the power of youth. Merlot and cabernet sauvignon from the rocky soils of Blue Terrace Vineyard in Oliver, added merlot from the Front Yard Vineyard in Naramata, and rounded it out with Cabernet Franc from Raju Vineyard. It is aged in a 96/4 combination of French and American oak barriques and puncheons for 24 months (22% new). Lamb or roasted pork are the matches while it's young.
