Black Sage Gravel Bar, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 50% pinotage and 50% syrah wine is an exclusive, small lot wine club blend that opens with intense black currant and plums dusted with sagebrush, leather, and cedar. All that tumbles onto the palate, pitching wild berries, meaty game, and black pepper. This fruit is a mix of wine that originates from Stoneboat Vineyard on Road 9 (QG), and Sunflower. It has been aged in a 75/25 mix of French and American oak barrels (25% new) for 18 months. The alcohol content is a modest 13.6%.
