Oenops Xinomavro 2022
Naousa, Makedonia, GreeceOenops was founded in 2015 by winemaker Nikos Karatzas, with a focus on indigenous and rare grape varieties grown on profound terroir. He selects organically grown cool climate sites and old vine plots, from vineyards in Drama and Macedonia. This xino was aged 10 months in concrete, and bottled unfiltered. Fragrant wild plum, perfumed cherry, crushed scrubby herbs flood this lifted, finessed xino, with buoyant, jubilant acidity, and finely grippy, tea lined tannins.
