Aegean Islands - Crete, The Islands, GreeceThis is made from the indigenous vidiano grape, sourced from old vineyards in the mountainous area of Heraklion, Crete. This was native fermented in clay amphorae, large barrels, stainless steel, and concrete tanks before blending and resting in 6 months on lees in amphora. It was bottled unfiltered. Tangerine, white grapefruit, melon, and Asian pear lead this bright, slight, shining white, with a finely buzzy texture to match the singing acidity.
