Oenops Rawditis 2021

Amyndaio, Makedonia, GreeceAs you may have guessed from the name, this is a raw version of the indigenous Greek grape roditis, meaning no inputs or take aways, native fermented, with no SO2, or filtration. This was fermented in amphora, with 30 days skin contact followed by 6 months aging there. Pouring a deep golden hue, this orange wine pulls mandarin, apricot, peach fuzz along the palate, brightened with a tangerine rinse, and textured with a slight concrete buzz. Clear and bright, this is a charming naked view on the grape.Tasted: 22 March 2025Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
