My Favorite Neighbor Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo County, Central Coast, California, United StatesThis cabernet dominant blend (83% cabernet sauvignon, 7% petit verdot, 7% malbec, 2% petite sirah, 1% syrah) from Paso Robles was aged for 18 months in French oak (55% new, 45% neutral). Pouring deep ruby-purple hue, it offers a classic cabernet nose of cassis and black cherry layered with black olives, dried bay leaf, tobacco, and nutmeg. The palate is full bodied at 14.5% with ripe, polished tannins and a smooth, rich texture. Drinking beautifully now, it will appeal to those seeking a bold, opulent, yet savoury red.Tasted: 29 March 2025Tasted by: HJ ChaPrices:
