Frasca Nizza 2020

Piedmont, ItalyNestled among the hills of Nizza Monferrato, Frasca consists of 22 hectares of vineyards. This barbera comes from vines averaging 30 years. This has some whole berries included in the lengthy, gentle maceration (no punch downs) followed by 6 months aging in large oak barrels, and a lengthy stint in bottle prior to release. Cushy, mouth filling blackberry, black cherry fills a fleshy frame, with supple tannins dusted with black pepper carrying this through the stony finish. Super elegant and complete barbera (even at 15%), as expected from Nizza.Tasted: 01 March 2025Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
