Feudi di San Gregorio Cutizzi Greco di Tufo Riserva 2022

Campania, ItalyGreco di Tufo is sourced from the small town of Tufo and eight nearby communes northwest of Campania. Greco is the native variety of the area, and Feudi di San Gregorio Cutizzi Greco di Tufo Riserva celebrates its uniqueness. The volcanic soils and Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and mild winters, combine to supercharge the greco grape. Cutizzi is a single 8 hectare vineyard whose grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged on lees for four to five months with regular stirring. The wine spends a few more months in the bottle before it is released. You can expect a light yellow colour with a persistent perfumed orchard fruit nose. After that, this wine will take you on a journey that will flood your tastebuds with exotic sensations before a spicy balsamic finish. Lightly intense and food friendly, this is a rare bird. Using excellent minerality, the finish is long and pleasurable, leaving a lasting and delightful impression. An ideal wine for those seeking something light, aromatic, and ancient.Tasted: 03 March 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
