Campania, ItalyVilla Matilde, owned by the Avallone family of Tenuta Pietrafusa, was created 50+ years ago to honour the ancient grapes from Campania, like this greco. This comes from hillside vineyards, rooted in ancient volcanic soils, and was aged 4 months on lees in stainless. The golden yellow hue reflects this wine's bottle age, which is also evident with the white honey, ash, dried white blossoms, on the medium palate, finishing with dry honeycomb spices.
