Maremma, Tuscany, ItalyThis wine captivates you with its vibrant dark fruit, from its savoury olive and black plum, black cherry, and spice to its silky Tuscan jacket that contains the power and refinement of this blend, channelling it throughout the entire wine. The more decadent the dish, the better, but chinghiale and mushrooms come quickly to mind. The blend is 50% sangiovese, 25% cabernet sauvignon, and 25% merlot which is fermented in stainless steel and is aged in 50% new French oak for 18 months, followed by a further nine months in the bottle.
