Nk'Mip Cellars Talon 2021
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaTalon's opaque purple-black colour leaves it looking very youthful, given that it's already four years old. The attack is intense, pitching minty, meaty, pepper, and plums, with hints of chocolate and licorice. It unfolds more of the same way on the palate, with a linear back end and some drying youthful tannins. There is some excellent structure here that will repay time in the bottle somewhere around 2027.
