Nelson, South Island, New ZealandHeaphy Riesling comes from royalty, namely 30 to 50 year old, unirrigated vines grown on Moutere's clay soils. The heavier soils give the body some gravitas, but the lime and red apples draw you into this wine. Juicy, fresh, and lightly spiced, it is the perfect late afternoon aperitif, or wine that can be served at the dinner table when paired with spicy food.
